The goal of this class is for students to interact with various kinds of popular media in English, to develop reading and listening skills, and to express their ideas on a given topic.
授業概要(教育目的) テレビ・ラジオ・インターネットなど音声言語を媒体として報道されるニュースを主として扱います。時事英語の独特な語彙・表現を学び,読解力と聴解力を高め,時事問題への理解を深めることを目的とします。
This class focuses mainly on spoken materials. Students develop listening skills including vocabulary and expressions typical of current English, and awareness about current issues.
