学習目標(到達目標) This course aims to think and discuss the economic structure and features of the contemporary United States through the data-based analysis about the US economic policies by the government at both federal and state levels. Also we try to read and understand some papers and TV news for debates.
授業概要(教育目的) This course examines and explains about what the structural features of the US economy was and is through reading a textbook and some economic data, and provide the opportunities to make sure what the US government did and does for the economic growth and stability.

授業形式 We sometimes try to have open-ended discussion or easy talking about the traditional and typical issues on US society and economy; racism, segregation, income gaps, decentralized system, social security. Also we enjoy some TV contents like PBS News Hour regarding about those topics.
