学習目標(到達目標) This course aims to think and discuss the US economic sustainability and future aspects in the global sights throughout the 21st century. This includes some data-based analysis and debates over the US fiscal and monetary policies after 1980's and its effects on the expanding global capitalism.
授業概要(教育目的) We try to consider and examine the US in-bound issues and agenda; welfare, education, transportation, housing which are operated by state & local governments under the federalism, and try to have some debates in thinking the globalization and iocome gaps between races or gender.

授業形式 This course requests each student to examine the roles of federal and state & local governments and income redistribution policies in the US. We often use the media contents such as PBS "News Hour" to think over the real US economy.
