授業概要(教育目的)

英語のスピーキングとリスニングに関する既習事項を確認・活用して，自身が伝達したいことを音声で表現できるようになること，そして相手が伝達したいことを聴き取って理解できるようになることを目的とします。
This class gives students the opportunity to develop basic skills in speaking and listening. Attention mainly focuses on pronunciation, intonation and basic communication strategies.

授業形式

演習形式を中心として授業を進め，ペアまたはグループによる練習なども行います。内容理解を確認するための小テストや課題提出等を随時課します。
This class lays stress on practical training, including work in pairs or groups. Comprehension quizzes and assignments will be given as needed.

事前学習の内容など，学生へのメッセージ

事前学習の主な内容は、前の授業で学習した表現を暗記することと、
スピーチのトピックについて自分の意見を考えることである。その根拠となる
証拠のために簡単なリサーチをすることもある。
