Students will be able to talk with confidence about their everyday life and themselves in English.

Students will be able to listen to and understand information and explanation on everyday life and modern society.

Students will be able to develop skills for communicating effectively in English from their personal viewpoint.

④ 英語がよく使用されている社会の文化背景を理解し,場面に合った適切な英語表現(丁寧表現など)を使うことができる。
Students will be able to express their ideas in an appropriate way (e.g. with regard to politeness and formality) based on the cultural contexts of sites where English is widely used.
授業概要(教育目的) 英語のスピーキングとリスニングに関する既習事項を確認・活用して,自身が伝達したいことを音声で表現できるようになること,そして相手が伝達したいことを聴き取って理解できるようになることを目的とします。
This class gives students the opportunity to develop basic skills in speaking and listening. Attention mainly focuses on pronunciation, intonation and basic communication strategies.

授業形式 演習形式を中心として授業を進め,ペアまたはグループによる練習なども行います。内容理解を確認するための小テストや課題提出等を随時課します。
This class lays stress on practical training, including work in pairs or groups. Comprehension quizzes and assignments will be given as needed.
