Students will be able to express their ideas in an appropriate way (e.g. with regard to politeness and formality) based on the cultural contexts of sites where English is widely used.
授業概要(教育目的) 英語のスピーキングとリスニングに関する既習事項を確認・活用して，自身が伝達したいことを音声で表現できるようになること，そして相手が伝達したいことを聴き取って理解できるようになることを目的とします。
This class gives students the opportunity to develop basic skills in speaking and listening. Attention mainly focuses on pronunciation, intonation and basic communication strategies.

授業形式 演習形式を中心として授業を進め，ペアまたはグループによる練習なども行います。内容理解を確認するための小テストや課題提出等を随時課します。
This class lays stress on practical training, including work in pairs or groups. Comprehension quizzes and assignments will be given as needed.

評価の特記事項 テストを1回でも受験しなかった場合は単位を認定しません。病気などやむを得ない事情で欠席した場合は書類の提出し許可が得られた場合には後日受験することになります。

事前学習の内容など，学生へのメッセージ 欠席回数が5回に達した場合は単位を認定しません。2回の遅刻/早退は1回の欠席とみなされ、30分以上の遅刻/早退は欠席扱いになります。
