授業概要(教育目的)

英語のスピーキングとリスニングに関する既習事項を確認・活用して，自身が伝達したいことを音声で表現できるようになること，そして相手が伝達したいことを聴き取って理解できるようになることを目的とします。
This class gives students the opportunity to develop basic skills in speaking and listening. Attention mainly focuses on pronunciation, intonation and basic communication strategies.

Students will demonstrate their ability to use the target language that is summarised on p. 138 and the grammar on p. 144. [Preparation] Prepare your presentation slides on Google Slides.

授業形式

演習形式を中心として授業を進め，ペアまたはグループによる練習なども行います。内容理解を確認するための小テストや課題提出等を随時課します。
This class lays stress on practical training, including work in pairs or groups. Comprehension quizzes and assignments will be given as needed.

評価の特記事項

評価方法にある「レポート」とは,毎回の課題(語彙の予習)を指します。「小テスト」とは、各単元の復習テストです。定期試験はAssessment 1 & 2に分け、評価は10%ずつにします。

Late 3 times = 1 absence. More than 20 minutes late = Absent. More than 10 absences = FAIL. Bring your dictionary. You mustn't use your smartphone as a dictionary. Every time you forget to bring your textbook, 5% will be subtracted from your grade.
