Students will be able to talk with confidence about their everyday life and themselves in English.

Students will be able to listen to and understand information and explanation on everyday life and modern society.

Students will be able to express their ideas in an appropriate way (e.g. with regard to politeness and formality) based on the cultural contexts of sites where English is widely used.
授業概要(教育目的) 英語のスピーキングとリスニングに関する既習事項を確認・活用して,自身が伝達したいことを音声で表現できるようになること,そして相手が伝達したいことを聴き取って理解できるようになることを目的とします。
This class gives students the opportunity to develop basic skills in speaking and listening. Attention mainly focuses on pronunciation, intonation and basic communication strategies.

This class lays stress on practical training, including work in pairs or groups. Comprehension quizzes and assignments will be given as needed.

事前学習の内容など,学生へのメッセージ Attendance is important. Students may have 5 (unexcused absences) however the fifth absence will result in a "C" grade 60%. Unexcused absences include missed classes because of sports or club activities.
Study one lesson in each book twice a week before you come to class.
