学習目標(到達目標) This course aims at understanding the role of human resources in economic development in Japan and other East Asian countries.
授業概要(教育目的) Human resources are often cited as a critical element of economic success. This class focuses on its education and health components among others, and discusses policy issues, based on empirical analysis on Japan’s postwar economic recovery and East Asia’s recent low-fertility, high-growth era.
