授業概要(教育目的) 歴史・言語・文芸など広く人文科学系分野におけるテーマに取り組むことを通して，英語運用能力を総合的に発展させることを目的とします。
This class focuses on topics in humanities, such as history, culture, and languages. Students will be required to actively participate and exchange their opinions on the topics covered in class.

授業形式 ワークショップは「お互いに学び合う場」です。受講者がお互いの感想や考えを述べ，話し合うことを通して，ある事柄に対する理解を深めていくことに主眼をおいて授業を進めます。内容理解を確認するための小テストや課題提出等を随時課します。
Students are expected to deepen their understanding of certain topics by expressing and exchanging opinions. Comprehension quizzes and assignments will be given as needed.

事前学習の内容など，学生へのメッセージ In this course you are going to learn about Nigeria from historical, social and cultural perspectives. This course is basically conducted in English. You are expected to actively participate in pair/group work activities in class, read study materials and work on writing assignments at home.
