Students will be able to understand lectures in English, engage in project-based learning, and make a presentation in English.

授業概要(教育目的) 政治・経済など広く社会科学系分野におけるテーマに取り組むことを通して，英語運用能力を総合的に発展させることを目的とします。
This class focuses on topics in social science, such as politics and economics in Japan and around the world. Students will be required to actively participate and exchange their opinions on the topics covered in class.

授業形式 ワークショップは「お互いに学び合う場」です。受講者がお互いの感想や考えを述べ，話し合うことを通して，ある事柄に対する理解を深めていくことに主眼をおいて授業を進めます。内容理解を確認するための小テストや課題提出等を随時課します。
Students are expected to deepen their understanding of certain topics by expressing and exchanging opinions. Comprehension quizzes and assignments will be given as needed.

事前学習の内容など，学生へのメッセージ 上記はあくまでも予定している授業計画であり、学生との相談の上、下記の活動を踏まえ、変更になる場合や前後する場合があります。特に受講者が多い場合は、学生の発表(Presentation)が後半に集中することがあります。
ディスカッションや会話を中心とする授業です。経済や国際的なテーマの他、比較文化にも触れます。授業では英語のコミュニケーション能力の向上を図ります。
