This course aims at building a strong theoretical foundation to understand the international dimensions of macroeconomics. In the fall semester, we will apply the concepts we learnt in this class. |

In the first half of the class (Spring semester) we mainly learn theoretical models to understand capital flows, exchange fluctuations, and their impacts on the economy as a whole. |

授業形式 |
Lecture based on the textbook. Active participation (questions, comments) is highly welcome and strongly encouraged. Also, a good command of English is a must. Not being able to understand English is no excuse for poor performance of exams and homeworks. |

The prerequisite for this class is Macroeconomics. Anybody who has not taken the Macroeconomic class (Japanese or English) will find it very difficult to understand the class. |
