学習目標(到達目標) This course will further to examine and understand the major hypotheses to explain economic growth in selected Asian economies; learn and understood the role of government and the market as the allocators of resources and engines of development.
授業概要(教育目的) The purpose and focus of this course is to give the students further understanding and techniques on how Asian economic system works and its current efficiency, challenges and opportunities with regard to allocating resources, distributing goods and improving national wealth.

授業形式 This course consists of lectures and in-class discussions. Students are expected to read the assigned chapter(s) prior to the class, ask questions, present their ideas, write reports when they are assigned, and take exams. Enthusiasm matters a lot in this course.
