学習目標(到達目標) In this class, students will discuss a variety of issues in English and write three position papers on some of those issues.
授業概要(教育目的) This class will allow those who take it:
1. to be able to write about important world issues;
2. to develop skills for reading, discussion, presentation and researching in English;
3. To expand their academic English vocabulary.

参考文献 Something like Daniels & VanHoose, Global Economic Issues and Policies, Third Edition would be good preparation for the class
