授業概要(教育目的) 英語でも時事問題について語れるようになるため、世界地理・政治・経済の基礎研究、地図、経済データを含む表や短いニュース記事の読解、そして簡単なプレゼンテーションの練習。

Summary of main points of lessons 1 – 14.
授業形式 Focusing on actual articles from current newspapers, this course aims not only at improving skills in reading, discussing and presenting on international news issues in English but at raising socioeconomic and geographical awareness.

評価の特記事項 ほぼ毎週教科書関係の小テストがあって、たまには（2回ぐらい）レポートも書かせます。その他の評価は主にクラス参加に基づいて行われます
