The focus of this course is to offer students deep understanding of the analytic methods of microeconomics, such as the function of market, the role of consumer and firm, and the role of government, through the conceptual and mathematical analysis and explanation. |

This course will facilitate and enforce students’ understanding and knowledge over the analytical framework on microeconomics. In particular, it will examine and analyze with mathematics about the function and mechanisms of market forces and government policies. |

This course consists of lectures and in-class discussions. Students are expected to read the assigned chapter(s) prior to the class, ask questions, present their ideas, write reports when they are assigned, and take exams. Enthusiasm matters a lot in this course. |
