授業概要(教育目的) 英語のスピーキングとリスニングに関する既習事項を確認・活用して，自身が伝達したいことを口頭で表現できるようになること，そして相手が伝達したいことを聴き取って理解できるようになることを目的とします。
This class gives students the opportunity to develop basic skills in speaking and listening. Attention mainly focuses on pronunciation, intonation and basic communication strategies.

授業形式 演習形式を中心として授業を進め，ペアまたはグループによる練習なども行います。内容理解を確認するための小テストや課題提出等を随時課します。課題に関してのフィードバックは原則として授業中に行います。
This class places stress on practical training, including work in pairs or groups. Comprehension quizzes and assignments will be given as needed.

参考文献 テキストで取り扱うトピックに関連した(最新の)情報を各自で検索することを推奨します。(出典（ex.〇〇社のホームページ，書籍/著者名など)も併せて記録し、加えてそれに対する自身のコメントも記録し、授業にて紹介すること。）
オフィスアワー(授業相談) 授業後20分対応します。
事前学習の内容など，学生へのメッセージ 全ての授業活動は(可能な限り)英語にて行う。授業迄(事前)に①'1.Before You Watch'や'7.Critical Thinking'は答えを文章で用意してくること(単に'Yes/No'だけでなくその理由等も英文にする。)②'Word Match'の解答を含めUnit全般の未習の語彙を確認しておく。③(⓪音声ファイル入手(巻頭)を確認。)'4.Getting into Deatails'の空所補充と併せて音声に従い、英語の発話(モデルの模倣)を行う。授業後は自身の意見を英文にし次回授業にて発表すること。
