学習目標(到達目標) This course will critically examine the major hypotheses to explain economic growth in Asian economies; to learn the market environment in Asia; to understand the role of government and the market.

授業概要(教育目的) The purpose is to learn on how the international economic system works with regard to allocating resources, distributing goods and wealth. Also, it will help students to more precisely and effectively understand the market environment and system of Asian economies in the past, present and future.

授業形式 This course consists of lectures and in-class discussions. Students are expected to read the assigned lecture-note prior to the class, ask questions, present ideas, write reports, and take exams. Feedback will be given on students’ presentation, report, and class participation and performance.
